Frequently Asked Questions

We decided to include this page to help you navigate our website and to provide you with answers to some of the questions that you may have about us. As we get more questions, we will add to this list. The more you know about us, the better you will know how we can help you.

 

 

Can you match Summit Prices ?

This is the most frequently asked question that we get. We are direct dealers for nearly 40 manufacturers and through our extensive distributor network ( one of which being Summit ), we can be very competitive with our pricing. In most cases we can meet or beat Summits pricing. If for some reason we cannot meet or beat a price, we will be honest with you and tell you.

As a side note, I feel that it is important to support your local business. The friendship that is built certainly goes a long way beyond the sale of an item.

 


 

Do you have a catalog ?

Unfortunately we do not have our own catalog. We have links to the manufacturers that we are dealers for on the "Manufacturers" page as well as links on our "Line Card" page.

We are currently working on our On-Line store www.jerseyspeed.com. This is a work in progress and we are updating as time permits.

 


 

How much will it cost ?

Pricing parts, is a pretty straightforward process. We look up a part, check stock, and decide where we will purchase the item from based on price and availablity. We do this because we feel it is very important to save you as much money as we can. The savings the we receive for an item is transferred to you. Our profit does not go up because we buy it for less.

Turnkeys and restoration is another story. We could throw a number at you that we feel will cover our parts, but we don't feel that this is fair to you. How long have you been here ?

We meet new people every week. No matter how much we advertise, how many shows we attend each year, or how many fliers we hand out, we still meet new people every week. Many times during the week we are asked "How long have you been here?"

We are happy to say that we have entered into our 5th year in business. We owe this to all of our great customers who have since become our friends. We find that first time customers are pleasantly surprised with their first experiance at The StreetRod Store because we take the time to listen, show them around and help where needed. We want everyone to feel comfortable and yes, feel like a member of the family!

 


 

Do you do interiors ?

The answer is yes and no. We refer all of our interior work to Smitty's Upholstery. Smitty has been taking care of our customers for the past 4 years and has been doing a wonderful job for us! You can find Smitty at:

We do custom interiors on all of the turnkey cars that we build, but unfortunately do not have the space to offer this at this time on a full time basis.


 

Do you paint ?

We cannot paint at our current facility. We perform all of the fabrication and minor body work but we are not approved for paint. We send all of our final bodywork and paint to Bob at Blackwood Collision. You can find Blackwood Collision at:
