Marty's 1933 Plymouth

Marty's 1933 Plymouth is a car that needed some serious T.L.C. While sitting in his driveway, you would not believe how many people stopped to see if it were for sale. Well, in little time, Marty had the motor out and the body stripped and bodyworked. The following pictures are of the transformation of Marty's 33.

This is a picture of what the 33 looked like before Marty started the bodywork. You can see that it is going to need some work.

This is a picture a few months later after Marty stripped and bodyworked the car. A new motor and trans were dropped in. Bob from Blackwood Collision Center did the final bodywork and paint.

We took the car in for wiring and a few other items. As you can see from this shot, it needed a little more.

There was a lot of wasted interior space so we decided to make a few changes . . . ok, we decided to rip everything out and start over.

New dash, gauges, Lokar Nostalgia shifter, and carpet is installed in this 33. The seats and door panels will be next.

This is the new trunk area behind the seats. You can see by this picture that the battery will be mounted in this area.

The engine was repainted black and some nice shiny details were added. We took out the old steering box and mounted a rear mount rack to handle the steering. Marty's 33 is taking shape!

Marty's 33 Plymouth still needs a few things to finish the car off. This car was also painted by Bob at Blackwood Collision. Once we are done, Bob will finish wet sanding and buffing this car.

The interior was done at our shop. We feel that the interior color was a good compliment to the exterior color.
