This is a nice view of the chrome Jag rearend.
A shot of the nice leather interior.
This 350ci Chevy will be pulled due to a annoying oil leak at the cam seal.
This is the new 350 crate engine from NUCAR in Deleware.
The engine was cleaned and masked off to get ready for paint.
The engine was painted with red Plasticoat engine paint. This is our paint of choice for engines as it holds up very well and has an almost plastic looking appearance.
This is the new create engine with an Edelbrock Endurashine Dual Quad setup on top. It looks better in person than it does in this picture.
Craig removed the Flowmaster mufflers and installed these highly polished Thrust mufflers. They sound as good as they look and are priced right!
We started to remove the right side rear wheel and axle to get to the leaky axle seal.
This is a view with the axle removed. Once we remove the nut we will be able to pull the shaft with the rotor still attached.
The rear IFS is completely disassembled and the center section is sent to Concours West Industries in Washingto State for rebuilding. While we are waiting for the new center section to come back, we will polish all of the IFS parts as well as the undercarrage of the car.
The rear that we sent was in worse shape than what we thought. The bearings were shot, the ring and pinion was pitted and had chips and the vent tube was epoxied into place. Concours had to scrap everything and sent us a brand new center section.
The first thing that we did was to wipe down and paint the center section red to match the car.
Now all we have to do is to install the calipers / pads and bleed the brakes.
